This isn't racist...I SWEAR.

Hello There,

Just in case you have stumbled upon this and want to judge me or string me up or something for this you should consider the history behind this...It's very simple, my sister has had the Sanford & Son song in her head for a few years now. Example: instead of a normal conversation lull someone may say: "Sooo anyway..." well my sister instead of that may just start singing the Sanford theme: "Bu du duh dup..." I think it's funny. Well one random day we speculated what if Obama's entrance song was that Sanford theme, for no real reason other then we have plugged it into so many other scenarios...So I LOVE Obama, I love people of all ethnicities, races, colors & creeds. I am not racist, now have a laugh will you?

Let's blog this s*%#

Hey Noone!

I know you have been refreshing the page for weeks on end. Eyes burning from staring at the screen. Throat dry from all the cigarettes smoked from the boredom and hopelessness of waiting for me to post again. Well it has all payed off, it's worth it. Here it comes!

So I've had an interesting couple of weeks? (I lose track of time when I'm doing nothing and don't have to be anywhere. Really it's weird. The days blur together. Time passes very strangely)
I started my time off with cleaning. I worked in sections over several days. Keep in mind in some places I am cleaning these are areas that have not been touched by human hands in months or years in some cases. Once I get to a nice base point, I delve deeper and maintain an "overall clean". Can you tell I'm bored? It gets better.

I have also been catching up on movies I haven't seen. Riding the comic book energy of Iron Man 2 I went Marvel for a few days. X-Men 3, Wolverine, and Electra, 3 I never saw got the screen time. Sadly I think Electra was the best of the bunch. Others included The Goods: Live Hard Sell Hard, Zack & Miri Make A Porno, The Informant!, It's Complicated, a re-viewing of Private Parts, Animal House (deal with it, I had never seen it) & a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Overall a pretty lackluster bunch.

So I guess I've been pretty restless playing the stay-at-home Mom thing. I've even got myself reading. Imagine that! I'm currently halfway through "And Here's The Kicker!" A sort of Interview compilation of comedy writers. Pretty interesting. Also, because of the kind of work I do coupled with my inherent laziness I don't consider myself very "active". Mostly I just sit in different places. I rarely walk unless it it to or from my car. I also don't eat very often and when I do it isn't well...well. So to fill the time and because I have the time, I have started exercising. Basic stuff, I haven't joined a gym or anything but situps/pushups/and ::gasp:: running!

So what do you ask am I doing today? Waiting for my nexflix to arrive so I can finally see "Surrogates" and hoping the rain stops so I can go for a run. Oh sorry, you didn't ask, did you?

More good stuff..

A Funny SNL Monologue

Mr. Galifianakis' monologue. I enjoyed this.

I like posters too...

Here are a few of my recent acquisitions:

Dan McCarthy - The Lost World (The old one, not that shitty misguided sequel to Jurassic Park) Limited Ed run of 400

Mr. Brainwash - Icons Chaplin
Given away free at his show in NY, Printed on glossy paper

You know this one right? RIGHT??

I'm slowly finding out I'm one of the select few who know this song. I was under the impression this was well known or popular at some point. Maybe it's just a fluffy bullshit song that is easily forgettable. Bet you $1 you find yourself humming it some time after hearing it.

Dicks

Ok so as much as I enjoy a good U2 song, they for the most part annoy me now. I think it's time for them to just pack it in (same goes for you Rolling Stones). Also is it just me or has Bono morphed into Robin Williams?

...And we're back

So things have been pretty intense at work and as much as I have wanted to update this I have not had the time or more accurately the strength to post something. HOWEVER, I wrapped the most difficult project of my career in the wee hours of the morning and was set free! So after a few hours of sleep, some WERID dreams that involved Michael Rooker, mountain climbing, an avalanche and an angry grizzly bear, here I am bringin you the best in random internet videos...

ENJOY!

Baby's First Blog

Hey all, and by all I mean YOU. Welcome to this good 'ol fashioned blog. The kind your daddy used to write. I'm not going to pretend I'm a great writer or even a good one. If you like bad grammar, poor use of punctuation and an overall disregard for the proper use of the English language then read on! Oh and if you like cinema & television I'll be talking about that stuff too.

Movies and TV. Love it. They have always been an interest/passion/obsession, whatever. I'll be doing some ramblings on that kinda stuff.

So in closing, welcome & come on back! Next up, Review & thoughts on Martin Scorsese's "Shutter Island" followed by my response to this years Oscars. Fun!
